The Beetle flower

Spring 2022 I had the opportunity to paint my first large scale outdoor mural in my very own hometown IJmuiden, the Netherlands. Facing a tough brick 10x12 meter wall I worked my way up the scaffolding with buckets of paint and brushes finishing the art in 11 days in the bright sun. Tough challenge and many obstacles had to be overcome and learned like the use of a grid system and how many coats of blue a damn brick wall needs. In the end I’m very pleases with the outcome…enjoy the video
