Meeting the Great Gardener (on Hemp)

€195.00

In collaboration with House of the Great Gardener we are offering this one of a kind 12 colour screen-print. This artwork visualizes the moment Mat met the Great Gardener. During an ayahuasca journey Mat traversed the spiral staircase into the sky, arriving on a platform high above the earth where he encountered a wise old man with a white beard and robe, smoking a big Sherlock pipe. This meeting with the Great Gardener reaffirmed Mat in his work with the cannabis plant and his general mission and direction in life. It was after this profound psychedelic journey that Matwas reading a book from a famous Peruvian artist named Pablo Amaringo. In the book Mat discovered that the man he encountered on his trip was the Great Gardener the one who watches over all the vegetation on earth. So often Mat is asked if he is the Great Gardener, and while he is a magician with our plant friends, he is not the Great Gardener he merely had the incredible experience of meeting the true Great Gardener way up in the sky, guiding him in his journey to bring cannabis to all of humankind.

High quality 500 x 840mm limited edition 12 color screen-print. Added glow in the dark effects and a sick iris gradient color background. Screen-Printed on 300 grams hand-scooped hemp paper.
