This artwork is made in collaboration with Spanish social-club La Creme Gracia, a local boutique social club that serves it members top notch homegrown medicine and a living room vibe. This installation is now permanently on display in Barcelona Spain.

As part of the artwork we also made a book that tells the stories of all these cannabis pioneers. The book is a clear map of what is depicted in the overall artwork. This Softcover A4 (29,7cm x 21cm) sized book counts 62 colourful pages and is rich in art and tale - a true must have for any cannabis and/or history enthousiast. The first edition is limited to 250 copies once they are gone we will go into another print production.

The artwork depicts a short but turbulent time in Netherlands - from about the 60s until the late 2000s the Netherlands were the epi-center of what was cannabis globally during that time. The laws that were created during the very liberal 70s opened the door for many cannabis refugees to come to Holland and together with the adventurous native Dutch they teamed up to work on their craft and lay the foundation for what is cannabis we know today - without this small liberal country cannabis would not be what it is today.
